| Outside of Teplice nad Metují just south of the Czech-Polish border are the Adršpach-Teplice Rocks, a parkland of unusual sandstone rock formations, protected as a nature reserve since 1933. Many stone slabs, crevices, and dramatic cliffs are discoverable on a three hour walk of the area.
