| The white-stoned, turf-roofed church at the remote village of Saksun, originally built in Tjørnuvík, but disassembled in 1858, carried over the mountains and carefully reassembled in Saksun. It sits over a small lagoon, Pollin, fed by trickling waterfalls down the surrounding mountain cliffs. |
