| Next to Pritzker Pavillion in Millenium Park's northwestern corner stands the Cloud Gate public sculpture, better known by its nickname "the Bean" due to its shape. Completed in 2006, it is made of 168 stainless steel plates welded together, its highly polished exterior showing no visible seams. At this time the area is undergoing renovation. |
