| The Temple of Garni is a 1st century Hellenistic temple near Garni. It is the only pagan temple in Armenia that survived the conversion of the country to Christianity in 301AD. It is made of basalt, with 24 ionic columns, and dedicated to Mihr, the Armenian god of truth. |
