| Looking over Place Royale/Koningsplein south of the Royal Palace, to the neo-classical Church of St. James on Coudenberg on its eastern edge, dedicated to one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus, constructed on the site of the chapel of the former Palace of Coudenberg between 1776-86. The equestrian statue is that of Godfrey of Bouillon, the leader of the First Crusade in 1096. |
