| Looking south down the central nave of the sumptuous interior of the co-cathedral. Once established in Valletta by the Knights of Saint John (Knights Hospitaller) after the Great Siege in 1565 by the Ottomans, it attracted attention, rich tribute and impressive gifts to the Knights by other countries. |
