| In the citadel's east is the city's focus, Saint Paul's Cathedral, built on the site of Publius's villa, the Roman governor who welcomed Saint Paul (found shipwrecked off the coast) in 60AD. It's the official seat of the Archbishop of Malta, shared with Saint John's Co-cathedral in Valletta. |
