| Standing on Mosque Street is the Gurdwara Sahib, a Sikh temple with gilded domes, opened in 1982 (replacing an earlier temple dating from 1912). Indian Sikhs - originally from Singapore - formed much of Kuching's police and security forces in the late 19th century. |
