| Gyllene Salen (the Golden Hall), within the Stadshus, contains over 18 million mosaic pieces made of glass and gold, capable of sitting 700 people. The northern wall is dominated by the Mälardrottningen ("the Queen of Lake Mälaren") mosaic, representing Stockholm being honoured by the East and the West.
