| Riddarhuset (the House of Nobility) on the western corner of Stadsholmen. Between the 17th-19th centuries it was a chamber in the Estates of the Realm, until replaced by the Riksdag in 1866. It is now a private institution, maintaining records on behalf of Swedish nobility. |
