| The marble columns of the Temple of Trajan remains the only Roman-built structure in the Acropolis site, built during the reigns of emperors Trajan (r. 98-117AD) and Hadrian (r. 117-38AD) and used to worship them as well as Zeus; its foundations were used as cisterns during the Middle Ages. |
