| The imposing hulk of the three-masted, iron-hulled barque Lady Elizabeth, launched in England in 1879 as a freighter. She was condemned after hitting rocks entering Stanley in 1912, and served as a floating timber warehouse, before breaking her moorings and drifting here permanently in a 1936 storm. |
