| The Strossmayer Gallery, located in the same park alongside Nikola Šubić Zrinski square in Lower Zagreb, presents European paintings from the 14th to 19th centuries. A bishop and politician, Strossmayer was one of the proponents for unifying the western Balkan states into the country later known as Yugoslavia.
