| The central parklands stretching through Lower Zagreb ends at king Tomislav Square, in front of Central Station. The equestrian statue is of the first and best-known king of Croatia, Tomislav I, ruling first as a duke (910-25) and as a king (925-8), before mysteriously disappearing from history.
