| Zagreb's Central Railway station marks the southern border of the parklands stretching through the middle of Lower Zagreb; the neo-classical building was opened in 1892. It is a busy station, as it is a rail hub between the rest of the former Yugoslavia and (via Slovenia) southern Europe.
