| On Wayang Street (on the corner of Carpenter Street, right of picture) stands the Hong San Si Temple, dating from 1848, and decorated with intricate roof-top dragon figures. The Chinese Taoist temple is dedicated for the Hokkien child deity Kong Teck Choon Ong, and was carefully restored in 2004. |
