| Looking up at the Swakopmund lighthouse, 21m tall and opened in July 1902 when the original beacon at the Mole was washed away. It is still in operation, guiding ships with its light seen as far as 35 nautical miles away. It is one of Swakopmund's prominent landmarks, which now also houses a restaurant. |
