| Looking north across Largo de Jesus to the gothic Monastery of Jesus of Setúbal, dating from 1491-5, with the church's main southern facade holding its flamboyant portal. Built outside the western stretches of the old city walls, the adjacent monastery (on the northern site, once the home of the Convent of Poor Clare nuns) has now been turned into an art museum. |
