| The Kisan Gate is one of the seven ancient city-gates through Damascus' Roman-era wall (today located in the south-eastern part of the Old City); the gate is also famous for being the escape route out of Damacus for Saint Paul, which was later isolated and the remnant converted into the Chapel of Saint Paul. |
