| St. Paul's Chapel, standing on Broadway just over the road from the southern tip of City Hall Park, in Lower Manhattan. Built between 1764-6 as a chapel of the Parish of Trinity Church (a few blocks south on Broadway), it is the oldest surviving church building in Manhattan; its spire was added in 1796. The One World Trade Center building looms over it in the background. |
