| The Christ Church Episcopal church, in Philadelphia's Old City neighbourhood, dating from 1744 as a parish of the Church of England (with its 60m steeple added in 1754). It played an integral role in the founding of the Protestant Episcopal Church in the United States, and seven signers of the US Declaration of Independence are buried in its churchyard. |
