| The Pyramid of Tirana opened in 1988 initially as a museum to Enver Hoxha (who died 3 years earlier), even designed by the dictator's daughter, ironically closing after the Communist collapse of 1991. It became a conference centre before falling into dilapidation; it escaped demolition and was renovated over 5 years to reopen as a youth IT centre in 2023. |
