| Looking north-west along Boulevard du Centenaire/Eeuwfeestlaan is the Brussels Expo Building (also known as the Heysel Exhibition Centre), built to house the International Exposition in 1931, and to also celebrate a century of Belgian independence. In 1958, other buildings were erected for the World Fair (Expo '58), including the Atomium opposite. |
