| Tucked away in the twisting streets at the foot of Colle di San Giusto is the Arco di Riccardo, a Roman remnant dating from 33BC that formed one of the old town gateways. Legend claims it was crossed by (and named after) king Richard I of England returning from the Crusades in the late 12th century. |
