| Stretching along a ditch by a preserved segment of the former Berlin Wall on Niederkirchner Straße is the open-air Topography of Terror, an exhibit established in 1987 documenting the brutal influence of the former Gestapo headquarters and many SS offices, situated on this site during Germany's Nazi regime (1933-45), bombed in WWII or bulldozed during the Cold War era. |
