| On the northwestern side of Bremen's Marktplatz (Market Square) stands a range of shopfronts, from left to right: the Rococo Haus der Stadtsparkasse (from 1755, rebuilt 1958); the baroque double-gabled Raths-Apotheke (1893, rebuilt 1958); Haus Jonas and Kaune (1600, rebuilt 1955), and Rathscafé (1910). All buildings were listed for local monument protection in 1973. |
