| To the west of the town hall (far-right of picture) stands the Church of Our Lady, dating from the 11th century. It originally served as market church of the city and later as church of the city council, before it was extended to form a basilica in the 12th century, preceding a complete rebuild in the 13th century to today's form and re-dedicated to the Virgin Mary. |
