| Suva's Holy Trinity cathedral. The Anglican Church was first established in Levuka (Fiji's previous capital) in 1870; a wooden Anglican cathedral was built in 1886, but was damaged in a cyclone in 1910. Its replacement was constructed from concrete some time later in several stages between the 1950s and 1970s, with an open-air western extension completed in 1974. |
