| Swakopmund's neo-Renaissance old railway station, built between 1901-2 by German architects. It was eventually closed in 1993 (a new railway station was constructed 500m to the east, off-picture to the right) and converted into the 4-star Swakopmund Hotel, opening a year later in 1994. |
