| Heading further west in Sossusvlei, about 65km west of the entrance gate at Sesriem. Better seen here are crusts of salt-rich sand, however any water flowing in the pan is a rare event (some water vapour is captured in early morning fog). Dead branches of camel-thorn trees can be seen scattering the pan. |
