| Berlin's baroque Old Armoury, built between 1695-1730 as a war museum. Badly damaged and burned out in WWII, East Germany rebuilt it as the Communist History Museum in 1952. The Deutsches Historisches Museum (German Historical Museum) moved here in 2003, charting the highs and lows of 2000 years of history in the Prussian and German region. |
