| Across the road from Berliner Schloss on Museuminsel (off-picture to the right) stands the neo-Renaissance Berlin Cathedral, seen here from Lustgarten. Rebuilt in 1905, it was bombed during WWII, and controversially restored 30 years later inm 1975 by East Germany. It was a former court church of the ruling Hohenzollern family, its crypt serving as a royal burial place. |
