| Saint Mary's Church, and Neptunbrunnen (Neptune fountain) in the foreground, on the western corner of Alexanderplatz, with the foot of the Fernsehturm visible (far-right of pictire). Built in the 13th century, it is (along with Nikolaikirche) one of the oldest churches in the city, but now largely composed of modern restoration work which took place in the 1890s and after WWII. |
