| On the southeastern side of Bremen's Marktplatz (Market Square) stands the State Parliament of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen (with the towers of the Bremer Dom looming over it in the background) on the site of the Bremen Stock Exchange, destroyed in WWII and the ruin demolished in 1955. It opened in 1966. |
