Walking along one of Groningen's pedestrianised commercial streets: Folkingestraat, linking Vismarkt ahead to Zuiderdiep across from the main railway station in the city's south. Believed to exist in the 11th century, it was first mentioned in 1439, and was the centre of the Jewish quarter during the 19th and 20th century until WWII. It received a renovation in 1997.
