| Due to its fortifications in low-lying marshlands, Den Bosch was known as the "Marsh Dragon", able to withstand multiple attacks from enemies. This statue (named the "Dragon Fountain"), placed outside the main railway station at the intersection of Stationsweg, Oranje Nassaulaan (left of picture) and Koninginnenlaan (right) in 1903, is a nod to its reputation. |
