Looking up the central nave of St Giles' Cathedral (away from the altar), with its ribbed ceiling filled with blue plaster. Protecting the western entrance is the New West Porch and the Robert Burns Memorial Window, installed in 1945 to celebrate the major themes in the poetry of one of Scotland's best-known poets, crowned with a heart-shaped sun.
