| Maastricht's Town Hall, clad in natural stone, located in the middle of Markt (Market Square) in the northern half of the city centre. After the demolition of numerous houses, construction started in 1659, with the city council moving into the building in 1664. After running out of money, they were able to afford to construct its tower in 1684. It underwent a renovation between 2014-7. |
